Katie Hays is the owner of Elite Physical Therapy & Wellness. She was raised in Mitchell, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. While at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Katie was a member of the Track and Field team. In 2007, Katie began physical therapy school at the University of Indianapolis-Krannert School of Physical Therapy in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. Katie has since gained experience in treatment of inpatient and outpatient care.  She was certified in treatment of lymphedema patients in December of 2011 by Klose Training. She enjoys working with patients of all ages including patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues, neurological disorders, acute and chronic pain, weight loss programs, and lymphatic insufficiencies.  Katie is excited to be back in the Panhandle, sharing her training with people of the community.

Katie lives in Scottsbluff with her husband Shane. They enjoy spending time camping, riding 4-wheelers, and traveling. They welcomed their first child, a daughter in February 2012.
